Job summary

Carsem (M) Sdn. Bhd is seeking an experienced Operations Manager in Ipoh, Malaysia to design, manage and optimize detailed production schedules that meet demand and quality standards.

You will collaborate with Test Engineering, CMO, Quality, and Sales to ensure material readiness, monitor WIP, and drive improvements across Test Finishing, T&R, and AVI while leading a high-performing team across multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in Operations management or a leadership role.
• Strong analytical problem solving with data tracking skills.
• Experience in high-volume semiconductor test manufacturing and final test operations.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certifications are highly desired in manufacturing test environments.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and optimize detailed lot schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maximize OEE for Test Finishing lines while minimizing unplanned downtime.
• Drive improvements in T&R packaging and AVI testing throughput.
• Coordinate with Test Engineering, CMO, Quality and Sales to ensure material readiness.
• Monitor WIP and adjust schedules to address delays.
• Track KPIs such as output, lead times, and inventory turns.
• Control inventory to meet targets.
