Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking a Test Maintenance Technician to sustain Final Test operations in a high-volume semiconductor facility. The role focuses on maintaining stable test performance, supporting equipment, and ensuring quality and efficiency across the line.

The candidate will perform PMs on ATE testers and handlers, calibrate instruments, and troubleshoot hardware. Strong data analysis, teamwork, and independent work are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Strong understanding of electronics and mechanics.
• Experience with ATE platforms (UltraFLEX, V93K, T2000) and handlers (EPSON, JHT, Vitrox).
• Familiarity with handler/prober mechanics and thermal control systems.
• Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• High initiative to troubleshoot complex hardware/software systems.
• Rigorous attention to detail and procedure.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience in high-volume, high-mix manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, monthly, 3/6 monthly preventative maintenance on ATE testers, handlers, and contactors.
• Clean and replace consumable parts like contactor pins, sockets, and indexers.
• Perform routine calibration of test system instruments (voltage sources, digital pins, PMUs).
• Troubleshoot hardware issues in the test cell (mechanical, electrical, thermal).
• Support Test Engineers in correlating failures and data for root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Engineers to implement process improvements and resolve yield issues.
• Participate in failure analysis and root cause investigations.
• Prepare and maintain test-related documentation and reports.
