Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Kulim, Malaysia seeks a Test Maintenance Technician to sustain Final Test operations in a high-volume semiconductor setting. You will maintain stable test performance, support equipment and hardware, and ensure consistent product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

You will perform PMs on ATE testers, clean/reseat consumables, calibrate instruments, and troubleshoot hardware issues in collaboration with Test Engineers.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronic Engineering/ Mechatronic Engineering.
• Strong understanding of electronics, mechanical.
• Familiarity with handler/prober mechanics and thermal control systems.
• Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for patterns.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, monthly, 3/6 monthly preventative maintenance on ATE testers, handlers, and contactors.
• Clean and replace consumable parts like contactor pins, sockets, and indexers.
• Perform routine calibration of the test system's instruments.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues related to the test cell.
• Support Test Engineers in correlating failures and gathering data for root cause analysis.
• Work with Engineers to implement process improvements and resolve yield issues
• Participate in failure analysis and root cause investigations
• Prepare and maintain test-related documentation and reports
