Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Malaysia is hiring a Test Maintenance Technician to support Final Test operations in a high-volume semiconductor environment. You will perform preventative maintenance on ATE testers, handlers, and related hardware, and help maintain stable test performance.

The role requires hands-on hardware skills, data analysis, and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and thermal issues.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Electronic Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Strong understanding of electronics and mechanical systems.
• Experience with ATE platforms and handlers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, monthly, and periodic preventative maintenance on ATE testers, handlers and contactors.
• Clean and replace consumables and worn components.
• Calibrate test system instruments and troubleshoot hardware issues.
• Support Test Engineers with failure analysis and data gathering for root cause.
• Collaborate with Engineers to implement process improvements and yield optimization.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation and reports.
