Job summary

Renesas Electronics Malaysia seeks a Test Engineer to develop, execute and optimize test processes verifying product functionality and quality in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

You will analyze test data, investigate yield and quality issues, implement improvements, and support documentation and continuous improvement initiatives across production testing and related systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with relevant study fields.
• Experience with Automated Test Systems (ATE) such as ETS364, 93K, Diamondx, ETS800 or Flex tester is a plus.
• Strong electronics knowledge (analog, digital, mixed-signal) preferred.
• Analytical, problem-solving and cross-functional communication abilities.

Job description

Responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing test processes to verify product functionality and quality. Involves test setup, data analysis, failure analysis, and documentation to support process improvement and production efficiency

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate yield, quality, issues and implement improvements.
• Develop, optimize, and control manufacturing processes.
• Drive process improvements, defect reduction, and implement corrective actions
• Support test process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support production testing, analyze test data, identify failures, and implement corrective actions.
• Execute, and improve test procedures and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronics, Mechatronics or related fields).
• Candidates with relevant engineering experience working with Automated Test Systems (ATE); ETS364, 93K ,Diamondx ,ETS800 and Flex module tester is a plus. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Good knowledge in basic electronics, including analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits, will add advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Eager to adapt well in dynamic working environment, eager to learn new knowledge and able to work independently.

Willingness to support on-call duties if required.
