Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking a technically skilled engineer to setup, qualify, and maintain semiconductor testers and handlers for high‑quality production.

You will troubleshoot equipment issues, monitor performance, and lead improvement projects while supporting maintenance programs and safety compliance. A degree in engineering and hands‑on problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of electro‑mechanical system, pneumatic system fundamentals.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of semiconductor tester & handlers to ensure stable, efficient, and high-quality production operations..

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and qualify new tester & handlers for production.
• Troubleshoot tester & handler issues and implement corrective actions.

• Support preventive maintenance and equipment reliability programs.
• Drive continuous improvement projects on productivity, quality, and cost.
• Train and support technicians on tester & handler operation and maintenance.

Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.

Qualifications

Must Have

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of electro‑mechanical system, pneumatic system fundamentals.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Good to Have

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Semiconductor test & handler platforms (e.g. SPEA, ETS, JHT, Cohu, Multitest, Advantest, Hontech, Seiko Epson).
• Knowledge of machine automation, motors, robotics, and vision systems
• Problem‑solving methodologies such as 8D, SPC, FMEA, and DOE.
