Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical and electronic engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with all cross-functional teams (CFT) to ensure smooth end-to-end (ETE) test manufacturing closure.
• Requirements Analysis: Understand customer product details and the architecture of the test and debug requirements.
• Design Review: Review customer packages and bills of materials (BOM) for functional test (FCT) tester designs, as well as in-circuit test (ICT) and flying probe test (FPT) requirements and designs.
• Vendor Management: Work with vendors to design FCT testers and ICT fixtures that provide the best possible test coverage.
• Inventory Control: Lead debug technicians to reduce debug work-in-progress (WIP) inventory.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure efficient tester troubleshooting and eliminate downtime for test equipment.
• Data Analysis: Generate reports and analyze test data to drive improvements; prepare documentation and recommendations.
• Management Reporting: Generate weekly, monthly, and yearly debug and test yield reports to be presented at the management level.
• Client Interaction: Lead technical calls with customers.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical and Electronic Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) or electronic manufacturing services (EMS) environment.
• Troubleshooting Skills: In-depth knowledge and understanding of the design process for systems, printed circuit boards, sub-assemblies, or other related company products.
• Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with component-level and PCBA-level troubleshooting.
• Communication & Soft Skills: Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with people at all organizational levels.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong presentation, database management, and computer skills.
