Job summary

Perak Transit Berhad in Ipoh is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Executive to lead terminal marketing campaigns, promotions and activations. You will plan annual and monthly marketing calendars, manage campaigns and coordinate stakeholder engagement.

The role focuses on tenant engagement, terminal branding and partnerships to drive customer footfall, with budget oversight and post-campaign reporting. Strong communication and multi-project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, Mass Communication, Event Management or related field.
• 5–6 years of relevant experience in marketing, events, activations, partnerships or commercial marketing.
• Strong campaign and event planning experience.
• Good stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects, activities and deadlines.
• Hands-on, resourceful and able to work independently.
• Experience in retail, mall, property, transportation hub or similar commercial environment will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate annual and monthly terminal marketing plans and promotional calendars.
• Plan terminal-related marketing campaigns, promotions and activations.
• Develop initiatives to support terminal positioning, tenant engagement and customer footfall.
• Lead engagement with government bodies, major brands, partners and relevant external stakeholders.
• Coordinate tenant participation in campaigns and terminal promotions.
• Develop promotional and cross-promotional partnerships.
• Plan and manage approved paid media and advertising activities.
• Secure sponsorships and vendor/exhibitor participation where applicable.
• Monitor campaign effectiveness, customer engagement and promotional outcomes.
• Coordinate and oversee major marketing projects and activities.
• Prepare post-campaign/event performance reports and recommendations.
• Support marketing budget planning and expenditure monitoring.
• Work closely with the Junior Marketing Executive on campaign and event execution.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.
