Job summary

Schneider Electric Industries (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a PreFab Assistant Tender Manager to orchestrate medium to high complexity bids for modular data center solutions. You will lead cross-functional teams, prepare proposals, assess risks, and ensure timely, competitive offers worldwide.

You will interact with solution architects, quoting engineers, procurement, supply chain, and finance to craft technically sound and commercially viable bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, electrical focus preferred.
• 6–7 years in infrastructure sales and tendering within multinational/multi-cultural teams.
• 3+ years technical experience in Data center Solutions incl. Secure Power, Cooling, Electrical/Mechanical installations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze RFQs, animate tender preparation, consolidate data and prepare costing.
• Develop presales contract strategies with marketing, sales, and engineering teams.
• Enhance quotes to meet target price while protecting margin.
• Support Opportunity Pursuit Leader during negotiations and closing.
• Ensure tender scope deliverability by Operations in terms of scope, resources and costs.
• Identify and mitigate tender risks and set appropriate risk provisions.
• Lead bid strategy, documentation, and variation order management.
• Build tender team and coordinate internal communications to complete offers on schedule.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Schneider Electric products and solutions.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver Modular Data Centers for country-based and global customers.
