Job summary

Kejuruteraan Powerwell Sdn Bhd is seeking an Estimator to support day-to-day tender operations in Malaysia. You will prepare and maintain tender reports, costings, and related documents, and collaborate with internal teams to clarify specifications.

Fresh graduates are welcome, with expertise in MS Office and ability to read electrical diagrams. The role requires strong time management, willingness to travel to Johor Bahru when needed, and a proactive approach to improve quotation efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying is required.
• 2+ years experience in switchboard manufacturing is advantageous.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Business-related computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical single-line diagrams.
• Moderate written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Willing to travel to Johor Bahru when required.

Responsibilities

• Report to Estimator Team Leader or Southern Region Manager on day-to-day estimation operation.
• Prepare and maintain accurate tender project report & daily task.
• Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and other related documents as required.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all tender project documents; properly recorded, filed, and easily accessible.
• Maintain organized filing systems for documents and ensure compliance with record retention policies and regulations.
• Contribute ideas and suggestions for enhancing efficiency or productivity in quotation preparation process.
• Generate LV quotation and prepare costing accurately and on time.
• Seek quotations and conduct price comparisons as required.
• Study and clarify tender specifications.
• Prepare related tender documents such as Schedule of Technical Data, Schedule of Unit Rate, BOQ, etc.
• Update pricing in Powerwell inventory system.
• Coordinate with internal department team for tender-related clarification.
• Propose/Attend learning competencies which help in work.
• Perform general administrative duties, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and organizing estimation-related documents.
• Other duties and tasks assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying or equivalent

Experience of 2 years & above in switchboard manufacturing industry will be an added advantage
