Job summary

IKEA Ab is seeking a capable Leasing & Tenant Relations professional to manage long-term tenant relationships, coordinate trainings, and support retail centre operations. You will ensure compliance with tenancy rules and drive commercial performance within the shopping centre environment.

The role requires 2–3 years in leasing/marketing admin, strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and a proactive, multi-tasking mindset to support various centre projects and events.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in any discipline.
• 2–3 years Leasing & Marketing/Leasing Administrative experience in a shopping centre environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Experience within retail operations or shopping centre management.
• Ambition to grow the Meeting Place and Ikano Centre brand.

Responsibilities

• Key contact with tenants to build long-term relationships.
• Coordinate trainings programs for tenants with the aim of increasing customer service and business performance.
• Organize tenant engagement events or meetings on a regular basis.
• Support Marketing with Mystery Shopper surveys.
• Attend and organize commercial projects, meetings and presentations.
• Ensure tenants adhere to Centre’s House Rules and tenancy agreements.
• Act as Duty Manager on weekends and public holidays.
• Coordinate with Finance on refunds and collection of debts.
• Maintain and update Tenant databases in ICMS and related systems.
