Nestlé S.A. in Malaysia is seeking a Temporary MRP Planner to ensure stocks are available at the right location to meet customer demand and to support accurate projections released to supply planning.

This role will drive improvements in demand and supply planning processes while coordinating with senior management and ensuring efficient inventory levels. You will focus on maintaining forecast accuracy, implementing process enhancements, and communicating key insights to stakeholders to support

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in SCM/Logistics or related field.
• 2+ years of working experience in a related field.
• LEAN concepts and tools exposure is a plus.

We are looking for a Temporary MRP Planner to ensure the right stocks are available at correct location to meet customer demand and to best estimate projection forecast is released to supply planning effectively and efficiently.

A day in the life of...

• Consistently achieve sustainable Demand Plan Accuracy (DPA) improvement.
• Implement improvements to Demand and Supply Planning processes and tools to deliver tangible benefits (e.g.: time savings, increased efficiencies etc).
• Capture, prioritize, analyze and input Generating Demand events; customer, consumer & competitor information; other external / internal trends and influences, which impact demand plan.
• Communicate relevant information to Senior Management in accordance with the Consensus Demand Planning process;
• Drive fast, appropriate actions to minimize the impact of deviations from the Demand Plan and communicate these actions to stakeholders.
• Effectively use all Demand Planning system functionality to enable an exception based management approach.
• Consistently achieve sustainable Customer Service Level for domestic within the Working Capital and Freshness objectives by ensuring that the weekly planning process is executed on time.
• Inventory Management: Balance the need for product availability versus the need to minimise costs of inventory to ensure optimum stocks of the right material in the right location
• Analyze and evaluate the supply plan and net despatch requirements to satisfy customer needs taking into account the network complexity and the supply constraints.
• "Establish stock policies for Finished Goods. To do this for Inter Market Supply together with Planners of Producing Markets.
• Periodically review the stock level of the domestic to pro-actively look for solutions in case of deviations."
• Analyse and effectively communicate relevant information highlighting all supply issues and detailing impacts of proposed actions and related trade offs;
• Ensuring actions and Supply Plans are realistic and achievable In accordance with the Business Planning process"

What Will Make You Successful,

• Two or four years of relevant operational experience at market/business level is useful, in at least one of the following areas:
• Demand & Supply Planning
• Project Management in the area of DSP
• Leadership role in one of the functions across Generating Demand or other Ensuring Supply areas of:
• Technical & Production
• Customer Service
• Demand & Supply Planning
• Supply Chain Development
• Purchasing
• Desirable to have had worked in a LEAN organization, who has adapted LEAN concepts and tools as part of their way of working.
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Has 2+ years of working experience in related field.
