Job summary

To support their continued market growth and supply chain efficiency, they are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Demand Planner to join their dynamic team.

About the Role

As a Demand Planner, you will serve as the pivotal link between commercial strategy and supply chain execution. You will be responsible for generating accurate demand forecasts, managing inventory health, and aligning cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product availability across all distribution channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Demand Forecasting & Analysis: Develop, refine, and maintain baseline demand forecasts using statistical models, historical sales trends, and promotional schedules.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead key demand review sessions with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to integrate commercial insights and market intelligence into forecast assumptions.
• Inventory & Supply Alignment: Collaborate closely with supply planning, procurement, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory levels, mitigate stock-out risks, and minimize excess or obsolete stock.
• S&OP Facilitation: Contribute actively to the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle, presenting forecast accuracy metrics and actionable demand insights.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Industry Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of demand planning, inventory planning, or supply chain experience, ideally within the FMCG industry.
• Analytical Capability: Proven ability to manipulate complex datasets, build robust forecasting models, and translate numbers into clear operational decisions.
• Supply Chain Acumen: Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain management, inventory control, and S&OP processes.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a track record of coordinating effectively across diverse departments.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced Excel; hands‑on experience with ERP/planning systems (e.g., SAP APO/IBP, Demand Solutions, Kinaxis, or similar) is a strong advantage.
