Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a tertiary qualification, preferably in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to present products clearly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to introduce Feiken Bearing's products and services.
• Qualify leads and identify customer needs through questioning and listening.
• Present product features and pricing persuasively to potential clients.
• Record and document customer interactions in the CRM system.
• Follow up with prospects via phone and email to nurture opportunities.
• Support campaign execution and gather market feedback for planning.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

As a Telesales Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales operations by engaging with potential customers, presenting our bearing products and services, and contributing to the achievement of our sales targets. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in customer acquisition, relationship building, and the broader sales process within a reputable organisation in the industrial bearings sector.

Key responsibilities

• Making outbound calls to prospective customers and leads to introduce Feiken Bearing's products and services
• Qualifying leads and identifying customer needs through effective questioning and active listening
• Presenting product features, benefits, and pricing to potential clients in a clear and persuasive manner
• Recording and documenting all customer interactions, feedback, and sales opportunities in the company CRM system
• Following up with prospects via telephone and email to nurture relationships and move opportunities through the sales pipeline
• Assisting in preparing sales reports and analysing call metrics to identify areas for improvementCollaborating with senior sales team members to support campaign execution and promotional activities
• Gathering market feedback and competitor intelligence to support the sales team's strategic planning
• Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a tertiary qualification, preferably in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate product benefits clearly and professionally
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills, with a genuine interest in understanding customer needs
• Confidence and resilience, with the ability to handle rejection positively and remain motivated
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Basic familiarity with CRM systems or willingness to learn quickly
• Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset, with a strong drive to achieve targets
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Prior experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred but not essential
• Knowledge of the industrial bearings or manufacturing sector is advantageous
