Job summary

HL Assurance Pte Ltd is inviting candidates for an outbound sales and customer service role in Malaysia. You will handle pre-sales, sales and post-sale support while building lasting relationships with customers.

The role requires 3+ years in outbound sales or call centre settings, with English and Mandarin skills preferred and a basic familiarity with CRM systems. Five-day work week with basic + incentives is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/ SPM with at least 3 years of relevant work experience doing outbound sales.
• Insurance certification (GI – BCP & PGI) is an advantage.
• Energetic, outgoing personality and service oriented.
• Independent and a fast learner with initiative.
• Able to converse fluently in English and Mandarin (advantage but not mandatory).
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for pre-sales enquiries, sales, post-sale customer service and on-going customer relationship management.

Reach out to existing and potential customers to present our product and service offering.

Communicate with customers to understand their requirements, needs and address any questions or issues customers may have.

Offer solutions based on clients’ needs and capabilities.

Managing customer’s enquiries or policies in order for existing customers to remain satisfied with company products and services.

Developing and sustaining solid relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.

Using sales scripts provided by the company as a guidance to drive sales and respond to customer rejections.

Gathering and documenting customer information, payment methods, purchases and call outcomes in the designated CRM or tracking tools.

Ensure daily and monthly KPIs (Call Performance and Sales Target) are met and exceeded

Well versed of insurance products and services.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Diploma/ SPM with at least 3 years of relevant work experience doing outbound sales preferably in call centre environment and general insurance industry

Possess Insurance certification (GI – BCP & PGI) is an advantage and basic computing skills

Energetic, outgoing personality and service oriented

Independent and a fast leaner with initiative

Able to converse fluently in both English and Mandarin (would be an advantage but not mandatory)

Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
