Job summary

YOUPENG INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee end-to-end delivery and onsite supervision of Huawei TE projects for major operators.

You will track progress, manage milestones and risks, and coordinate with Huawei teams, operators, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor degree in a related engineering field, has at least 3 years of telecom infrastructure project management

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in Telecommunication, Electronic, Engineering Management or related engineering majors.
• Minimum 3 years telecom infrastructure project management experience.
• Familiar with Huawei telecom equipment installation, commissioning and acceptance standards, and Malaysia operator rules.
• Capable of managing multiple parallel projects independently with strong planning, resource coordination and risk management.
• Fluent in English for technical discussion and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery and onsite supervision of Huawei TE Projects for main operators.
• Track project progress, update site milestones and maintain baseline data; prepare reports, identify risks and implement rectification plans.
• Serve as the single point of contact for local operators, Huawei teams, subcontractors and suppliers; handle daily technical communication and escalation.
• Arrange on-site manpower, materials and construction resources; formulate phased delivery plans; control quality, safety and schedule.
• Ensure all deliverables comply with Huawei TI and operator audit standards.
• Conduct full-cycle project risk assessment and optimize local delivery processes.

Job description

Manage end-to-end delivery and onsite supervision of Huawei TE Projects for main operators. Cover site survey, construction, deployment, quality control, material management, HSE compliance, inspection and project handover, in line with Huawei standards, operator requirements and local engineering regulations.

Key responsibilities

Track project progress, update site milestones and maintain project baseline data. Prepare regular project reports, identify onsite risks and issues, implement rectification plans and ensure full closed-loop delivery.

Serve as the key SPOC for local operators, Huawei teams, subcontractors and suppliers. Handle daily technical communication, resource coordination and issue escalation, sustain stable client and partner relationships.

Arrange on-site manpower, materials and construction resources, formulate phased delivery plans. Strictly control project quality, safety and schedule to ensure on-time, high-quality project delivery with zero major safety incidents.

Responsible for project document sorting, acceptance filing and settlement coordination, ensure all deliverables comply with Huawei TI and operator audit standards.

Conduct full-cycle project risk assessment and control, optimize local delivery processes and improve overall project management efficiency.

About you

Bachelor degree or above in Telecommunication, Electronic, Engineering Management or related engineering majors.

Minimum 3 years telecom infrastructure project management experience.

Familiar with Huawei telecom equipment installation, commissioning and acceptance standards, as well as Malaysia local operator management rules and onsite HSE requirements.

Capable of managing multiple parallel projects independently, with solid skills in project planning, resource coordination, problem solving and risk closed-loop management.

Good cross-cultural communication and customer management ability, able to align with client requirements and ensure stable customer satisfaction.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools for data analysis and document compilation.

Fluent in English for technical discussion and project documentation.
