Job summary

PERSOL Workforce Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a contract Field Technician to support telecommunications sites and tower infrastructure. You will perform audits of assets, manage inventories, and conduct field surveys across multiple remote locations in Malaysia.

The role requires travel to Kuching, Sri Aman, Sibu, Bintulu or Miri with irregular schedules and outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, IT, Asset/Facilities Management, or Logistics/Supply Chain Management.
Valid B2 driving licence.
CIDB Green Card.
Basic First Aid & CPR certification.
Working at Heights (WAH) certification.
Competent person for electrical works.
Fresh graduates may be considered and trained.
Microsoft Excel and GPS/map apps literacy.
Medically fit to travel extensively and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

Identify and record tower structures, network equipment, rectifiers, batteries, power meters, fibre termination, shelters/cabinets and other site assets.
Work on telecommunications sites/tower infrastructure including fibre networks, power systems, asset audit, inventory and field survey.
Conduct field surveys and asset documentation.
Travel extensively to work outdoors and at remote sites.
