Job summary

Maxis in Malaysia seeks a Product Development Specialist to drive the product lifecycle from initial requirements to successful launch. You will ensure a clear customer journey and ready-to-rollout supporting systems and processes.

You will collaborate with Products, ISD, Network, Business Enablement, and Operations to define requirements, shape roadmaps, and oversee testing and rollout. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for driving impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years in product development, product management, operations or a similar role, preferably within the telecommunications or technology industry.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

• Deliver commercial success.
• Lead the creation of detailed product specifications, user stories, and use cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and ensure successful product delivery.
• Support the development of product roadmaps and manage prioritization based on business value and customer feedback.
• Participate in product testing and quality assurance activities to ensure product readiness for launch.
• Monitor product performance metrics, gather customer feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present product-related reports and updates to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to telecommunications sector.
