Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc in Penang, Malaysia is seeking an Equip Maint Technician Specialist to perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting on non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. You will dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings, and use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.

Relocation level: (TBD).

Qualifications

• Certificate in mechanical engineering and electronic/electrical engineering.
• 1+ year of experience in equipment maintenance or related field.
• Understanding of semiconductor testing equipment processes; hands-on experience preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process

• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.

• May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.

Requirements:

• Certificate in mechanical engineering & Electronic/Electrical Engineering
• Highly motivated individuals with more than1 year working experience are encouraged to apply!
• Good understanding of Semiconductor Testing equipment processes. In-depth knowledge & hands on experience will be a plus point.
• A good teammate equipped with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems, data analysis, programming, or Artificial Intelligenceapplications is a plus.
• Experience using Generative AI,AI Assistant, or other AI-Enabledtools is preferred.
