Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is hiring a Technical Assistant to support a range of electro-mechanical manufacturing activities. You will troubleshoot issues, dismantle and rebuild equipment, and perform diagnostics to ensure equipment readiness and performance.

The role prefers candidates with a background in mechanical/electrical engineering and familiarity with semiconductor testing equipment, along with good teamwork and communication skills. Knowledge of AI-enabled tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certificate in mechanical engineering and electronic/electrical engineering.
• 1+ year of related work experience preferred.
• Good understanding of semiconductor testing equipment processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment used in manufacturing.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment per plans and manuals.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
• Rebuild manufacturing equipment as needed.
• Possibly modify equipment as directed by engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
• Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required
• May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.

Requirements:

• Certificate in mechanical engineering & Electronic/Electrical Engineering
• Highly motivated individuals with more than1 year working experience are encouraged to apply!
• Good understanding of Semiconductor Testing equipment processes. In-depth knowledge & hands on experience will be a plus point.
• A good teammate equipped with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems, data analysis, programming, or Artificial Intelligenceapplications is a plus.
• Experience using Generative AI,AI Assistant, or other AI-Enabledtools is preferred.
