Job summary

Paydibs Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced TechOps/Applications Support professional to troubleshoot production issues, APIs, and backend services, and to coordinate incident responses. You will work with Grafana/Prometheus/ELK Stack for monitoring, perform log analysis, runbooks, and participate in on-call rotations while supporting deployments and security updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years in Application Support, Technical Operations, Infrastructure or DBA roles, fintech preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting in production apps, APIs, backend systems, or third-party integrations.
• Hands-on experience in log analysis, system monitoring, incident management, and RCA.
• Proficiency in SQL, database maintenance, backups, and restoration.
• Familiarity with Linux/Windows, cloud infra and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with deployments, configuration management and production support.
• Knowledge of Grafana/Prometheus/ELK Stack; Bash, PowerShell or Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production issues, API errors, backend failures, and integration problems.
• Perform log analysis, tracing, diagnostics, and root-cause investigations.
• Support deployments, configuration updates, and release validations.
• Monitor system health, respond to alerts, and manage incidents with escalation.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and operational guides.
