Job summary

Senheng Electric (KL) Sdn Bhd is seeking a senior technology leader to head the Technology Business Solutions division. You will translate business strategy into scalable technology platforms, drive AI and digital transformation, and govern investments to deliver measurable business value.

You will establish enterprise architecture, oversee major system changes, and lead cross‑functional teams including vendors, PMs and business units.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Typically 5+ years of technology/business transformation experience with leadership responsibility.
• Strong experience in enterprise applications, digital platforms, system integration and technology transformation.

Role Summary

Lead the Technology Business Solutions (TBS) Division to translate business strategy into scalable technology solutions, drive digital and AI transformation, govern technology investments, and ensure technology delivers measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

1.Technology Strategy& Business Alignment

• Develop and execute the TBS strategy and technology roadmap aligned with company priorities.
• Partner with business divisions to identify business problems, opportunities and technology solutions.
• Advise management on technology investments, priorities and transformation initiatives.

2.Solution Architecture & Technology Governance

• Establish enterprise and solution architecture standards.
• Ensure systems are scalable, secure, integrated and aligned with business requirements.
• Govern solution design, technology selection and major system changes.
• Reduce technology duplication, complexity and technical debt.

3.Digital, AI & Innovation

• Lead digital transformation, automation and AI initiatives across the organisation.
• Identify and prioritise AI use cases with measurable productivity, revenue or customer-experience impact.
• Establish governance for responsible and sustainable adoption of emerging technologies.
• Drive experimentation and scale successful solutions across the business.

4.Project & Portfolio Management

• Govern the technology project portfolio based on strategic value, ROI, urgency and resource capacity.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timeline, budget and quality.
• Monitor project risks, dependencies and benefits realisation.
• Establish clear ownership and accountability acrosssponsors, business owners,PMs, BAs and technology teams.

5.Business Applications, Data & Integration

• Oversee key enterprise platforms, business applications, ERP integrations and digital solutions.
• Ensure reliable data flow and integration between business systems.
• Promote effective use of data, analytics and technology to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.

6.Technology Risk & Governance

• Ensure appropriate technology governance, cybersecurity, data protection and regulatory compliance.
• Establish policies, standards, controls and technology risk-management practices.
• Ensure business continuity, system resilience and appropriate disaster-recovery capabilities.

7.Financial & VendorManagement

• Own and manage TBS annual budget, technology investments and operating costs.
• Evaluate technology investments based on TCO, ROI and business outcomes.
• Manage strategic technology vendors, contracts, licensing and service performance.
• Optimise technology spending while maintaining service quality and scalability.

8.People & Stakeholder Leadership

• Lead and develop TBS functional heads and team members.
• Build strong collaboration between technology, business divisions and senior management.
• Establish clear KPIs, accountability and performance expectations.
• Develop internal technology, business analysis and transformation capabilities.

Qualification & Experience

• Demonstrated ability to manage technology portfolios, budgets, vendors and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong commercial and business understanding, with the ability to translate business strategy into technology execution.
