Job summary

OSK Group seeks a Technology Architect to drive architecture development and technology innovation aligned with its digital transformation strategy. You will define target-state designs, patterns, and roadmaps, partnering with Data & AI, Automation, IIoT, and security teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.

You will establish governance, reusable patterns, and ensure alignment with business objectives across Malaysia and international ventures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Data Science, Digital Transformation, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, technology strategy, digital transformation, system integration, cloud architecture, application architecture, data architecture, or related technology leadership roles.
• Professional certifications or hands-on experience in enterprise architecture frameworks and technology platforms such as TOGAF, cloud architecture certifications, solution architecture, cybersecurity, data and AI platforms, automation technologies, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Proven ability to research, assess, recommend, and translate emerging technologies into practical solution architectures, technology roadmaps, feasibility studies, proof-of-concepts, and implementation plans.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture domains including business, application, data, integration, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, automation, and emerging technologies such as AI, analytics, low-code platforms, and connected systems.
• Good understanding of architecture governance, solution design principles, technology standards, vendor evaluation, scalability, interoperability, security, user experience, cost efficiency, and sustainable technology adoption.
• Strategic and forward‑looking approach, balancing innovation, scalability, practicality, governance, and business value to support sustainable technology adoption and successful business transformation.

Responsibilities

• Research, assess, and recommend emerging technologies, platforms, and architecture approaches that have clear business potential and support the Group’s digital transformation strategy.
• Define solution architectures, target-state designs, integration patterns, and technology roadmaps for new initiatives to ensure scalability, interoperability, security, and alignment with business objectives.
• Conduct technology assessments, feasibility studies, proof-of-concepts, and architecture reviews to validate technical feasibility, business value, implementation risks, and long-term sustainability.
• Work with Data & AI, Automation, IIoT, application, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business teams to design integrated solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Establish and maintain architecture standards, principles, governance guidelines, reusable patterns, and documentation to promote consistent, secure, and sustainable technology delivery.
• Identify technology opportunities to improve operational efficiency, scalability, reliability, user experience, data flow, automation, and overall business performance across the Group.
• Evaluate vendor solutions, technology partnerships, commercial proposals, implementation approaches, and support models to ensure fit-for-purpose, cost-effective, and future-ready technology adoption.
• Provide technical advisory, architectural guidance, design assurance, and knowledge sharing to transformation projects, project teams, business stakeholders, and technology teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
