Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Solution Architecture and data-centric technology roles.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, data modelling, data integration and data management.
• Experience with databases, data warehouses, data flows and system integrations.
• Familiarity with data governance, data security and regulatory/compliance requirements.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with external vendors or partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join our Business Technology Solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable and secure technology solutions, with a strong focus on data architecture, data integration, data governance and data management.

You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders, external partners and vendors to design and continuously improve our data and technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business and technology teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and data-centric solutions.

• Design and develop solutions covering data flows, integrations, data transformation, databases and data warehouses.

• Define and maintain data architecture frameworks, standards and principles, including data modelling, metadata, security, reference data and master data.

• Establish and maintain reference architectures and design patterns to guide the development and enhancement of data systems.

• Ensure data architecture and technology solutions adhere to relevant industry standards, security requirements, regulatory requirements and best practices.

• Define and optimise data flows across the organisation, including data sources, consumers, movement, transformation and management.

• Collaborate with multiple departments, stakeholders, technology partners and external vendors to deliver effective technology solutions.

• Drive continuous improvement in data quality, consistency, accessibility and security across the organisation.

• Work closely with the IT Security team and relevant stakeholders to develop and implement the Data Governance Framework and Policy, including data compliance requirements such as PDPA and AMLA.

• Provide technical guidance, knowledge sharing and training to internal users and team members.

• Provide timely support and troubleshooting for system-related issues.

• Ensure IT and data policies, procedures and standards are consistently followed.

• Maintain accurate and complete technical and system documentation.

• Undertake other duties and projects as assigned by Management.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Engineering or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in Solution Architecture, Data Architecture or a similar technology role.

• Strong understanding of data architecture, data modelling, data integration and data management.

• Experience working with databases, data warehouses, data flows and system integrations.

• Knowledge of data governance, data security and regulatory/data compliance requirements.

• Experience translating business requirements into practical and scalable technology solutions.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience working with external technology vendors or implementation partners.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across different functions.
