APM Automotive Holdings Berhad seeks a Technician, Test Center to perform accurate, reliable testing of materials and components, configure test setups, operate instruments, and document results. Fresh graduates with a relevant diploma are encouraged to apply and will be considered based on technical knowledge and willingness to learn.

Objective: The Technician, Test Center is responsible to perform accurate, reliable, and timely testing of materials, components, or product and fatigue test in accordance with established procedures and standards, ensuring data integrity, supporting quality assurance, and contributing to product development, compliance, and continuous improvement. The role ensures compliance with technical standards and regulatory requirements while supporting the development and innovation of APMER's engineering solutions.

What we're looking for:

Key Responsibilities

Carry out materials, mechanical and performance tests based on prescribed methods and standards.

Prepare and configure test setups, ensuring correct operation of instruments, fixtures, and tools.

Accurately document results, observations, and deviations; assist in analyzing test outcomes for reporting purposes.

Follow safety protocols, use appropriate PPE, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Raw and processed data from materials, mechanical and performance tests, recorded according to procedure.

Structured reports detailing test conditions, methods, observations, results, and conclusions.

Identification of whether a tested sample meets the specified standards or fails to comply, with documented evidence.

Education :

Diploma in Mechanical, Automotive, Material, Electric or Electronic Engineering or a related field is the minimum requirements.

Professional Experience :

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and will be considered based on their technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn.

Understand in laboratory testing equipment and methodologies.

Familiarity with engineering or R&D testing protocols,

Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Ability to clearly report findings and provide actionable insights.

Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across team.

Ability to trouble shooting and repairing machine or equipment.
