Job summary

APM Automotive Holdings Berhad is seeking a diligent CAD trainee to join our engineering team in Malaysia. You will participate in an intensive data integrity project to update, standardize, and migrate CAD drawings into the 3Dx PLM system, under strict revision control.

Responsibilities include drawing standardization, quality control, and progress tracking. A Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Mechatronics or CAD-related field is required; SolidWorks knowledge is a plus.

Job description

Objective: The CAD trainee will participate in an intensive, short-term data integrity project to update, standardize, and migrate CAD drawings into the company's Enterprise 3Dx PLM system. The primary role involves checking out existing legacy drawings, updating drawing properties/templates, executing batch process updates, verifying metadata and checking the drawings back into the 3Dx PLM vault under strict revision control.

Education :

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, CAD/Design, or a related technical field.

Must possess strong attention to detail, basic optional SolidWorks proficiency and a fast, disciplined workflow.
