Job summary

Dunham-Bush Industries Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Production Technician to support chiller testing on the production floor. The role involves monitoring schedules, assisting colleagues and ensuring safety compliance during tasks.

The successful candidate will adapt to after-hours support when needed and coordinate compressor rebuilds to meet planned delivery dates. Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/HVAC and at least 2 years in HVAC are preferred; Mandarin communication is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/HVAC Engineering or related field.
• Candidate with at least 2 years of HVAC experience.
• Good writing and Chinese communication is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor chiller testing schedules on the production floor.
• Assist colleagues, subordinates and superior on chiller testing as needed.
• Obey safety and health requirements on the production line.
• Plan and coordinate compressor rebuild schedules to meet planned dates.
• Learn and work with colleagues on disassemble/assemble of compressors.

Job description

To monitor chiller testing schedule on production floor.

To assist colleagues, subordinates and superior on chiller testing when needed.

To obey the safety and health requirement while performing task in the production line.

To execute any other function assigned by the HOD.

Willing to support after normal working hours, weekend, and public holiday to meet daily chiller testing output when require.

To help colleagues on chiller setup such as water hose, power cable, test cart gauge and temperature sensors.

Willing to work with 3 phase low, medium or high voltage.

Require to test or control test chiller independently after sufficient training provided.

To plan and coordinate compressor rebuild schedule for Warranty/Service/Planner to ensure the completion dates are achieved according to plan.

To learn and work together with colleagues/subordinates on disassemble and assemble compressor.

To review fail compressor spare part whether can be reuse or scrapped.

To liaise with the material planner/supplier on the production floor stock to ensure that rebuilt compressor are delivered to meet initial plan schedule.

To review and execute the requirements in the factory orders especially compressor to meet customer demand.

Requirement:

Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/HVAC Engineering or other applicable field.

Candidate with at least 2 years of working experience in HVAC products also are welcome to apply.

Candidate with good writting and communicate in Chinese is an advantage as need to communicate with technical support in China.
