Job summary

HICOM-Teck See is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee startup and machine inspections, and to keep all plant equipment in optimal condition. The role involves monitoring assets, completing scheduled maintenance, and quickly resolving faults to prevent plant downtime.

Candidate should have a Diploma/Certificate in relevant fields and at least 1 year of maintenance experience in manufacturing. Shift work and long hours may be required, with emphasis on safety and KAIZEN reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate as listed in Education.
• Minimum 1 year relevant maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Able to read and understand basic technical drawings (advantage).
• Willingness to work long hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup inspection, machine inspection at defined interval frequency.
• Monitor and maintain all machines, equipment and system as assigned.
• Complete maintenance services as assigned; troubleshoot problems quickly.
• Prepare and update weekly KAIZEN reports.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the work area; ensure safety compliance.

To ensure smooth and efficient plant operation direct or in-direct .

Responsibility to ensure all servicing or repairing activity can be timely and effectively

To avoid any breakdown that can effect plant operations .

Adhere to safety and health regulations and maintain 5s all the time .

Job Description

Perform startup inspection, machine inspection at defined interval frequency.

Monitor and maintain all machines , equipment and system as assigned.

Responsibility for the completion of all maintenance service as assigned .

Require fast action to troubleshoot problem and know how to solve it.

Perform any repairing works as requested by his/her superior.

To prepare and update weekly KAIZEN report.

To maintain good housekeeping in his/her work area.

To be aware of risk and opportunities, control the risk.

To be aware of interest parties and meets their expectations.

Aware of consequences of deviation of procedure or methods.

Requirements

Education:

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Certificate PW3, PW4.

Year of Experience:

• Minimum 1 year relevant experience in maintenance jobs in a manufacturing.
• Able to use basic maintenance tools.

Special requirement:

• Able to work shift.
• Able to work long hours.
• Good eyesight.
• Free from color blind.
• Able to read and understand basic technical drawings will have an added advantage.
