Job summary

HICOM-Teck See is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee startup and machine inspections, and to keep all plant equipment in optimal condition. The role involves monitoring assets, completing scheduled maintenance, and quickly resolving faults to prevent plant downtime.

Candidate should have a Diploma/Certificate in relevant fields and at least 1 year of maintenance experience in manufacturing. Shift work and long hours may be required, with emphasis on safety and KAIZEN reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate as listed in Education.
• Minimum 1 year relevant maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Able to read and understand basic technical drawings (advantage).
• Willingness to work long hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup inspection, machine inspection at defined interval frequency.
• Monitor and maintain all machines, equipment and system as assigned.
• Complete maintenance services as assigned; troubleshoot problems quickly.
• Prepare and update weekly KAIZEN reports.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the work area; ensure safety compliance.

Education

Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Certificate PW3, PW4.
