Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Technician to maintain, repair, and improve our smart parking systems across Johor Bahru and Masai. You will diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and support upgrades on multiple sites in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in maintenance or technical roles, with CCTV installation experience as a plus, and is willing to work six days per week. Own transport and a GDL license are advantageous for travel across JB & Masai.

Qualifications

• PW4 certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant maintenance or technical experience.
• Experience in CCTV installation is an added plus.
• Willing to work 6 days a week, including weekends and public holidays.
• Own transport; GDL license is an advantage.
• Energetic and mobile; able to travel around Johor Bahru and Masai.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment or system faults.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance per checklist.
• Carry out corrective maintenance efficiently and accurately.
• Support upgrades, modifications, and system installations.
• Handle installation, commissioning, and dismantling of equipment.
• Complete service reports and logs accurately.
• Identify improvement opportunities to boost equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with operating guidelines and confidentiality.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment or system abnormalities.
• Perform routine and scheduled preventive maintenance according to the checklist.
• Carry out corrective maintenance work efficiently and accurately.
• Support project upgrades, modifications, and system installations as required.
• Handle installation, commissioning, and dismantling of equipment.
• Complete service reports, logs, and records accurately.
• Suggest improvement activities to enhance equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with all operational guidelines.
• Protect customer confidence by maintaining confidentiality of service information.
• Undertake any other duties assigned by your superior.

What We're Looking For

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Able to handle single and three-phase electrical wiring (PW4 certification is an advantage).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance or technical work.
• Experience in CCTV installation is an added plus.
• Willing to work 6 days a week, including weekends and public holidays.
• Possess own transport (GDL license is an advantage).
• Energetic, mobile, and willing to travel around Johor Bahru & Masai.
