ESING INDUSTRY (M) SDN BHD, a Taiwan-based water heater manufacturer expanding into Malaysia, seeks a Technician Lead to support production in Johor Iskandar Puteri. You will maintain equipment, train operators, and troubleshoot issues across pre- and post-production stages.

The role requires hands-on manufacturing experience, mechanical/electrical knowledge, and leadership to guide a team. Strong documentation, multitasking, and EN/CN/BM communication are valued. Five days a week, 9am–6pm.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in manufacturing, preferably home appliance sector.
• Familiar mechanical and electrical knowledge and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on repair and fabrication skills.
• Ability to update documents using computer.
• Willing to multitask with good discipline and leadership to manage a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the manufacturing process in pre-production and post-production stages.
• Perform full factory equipment, machine and jig fixture maintenance.
• Lead and coach production technicians to assemble products.
• Troubleshoot at customer sites if needed.
• Repair production rejects (mechanical and electrical).
• Understand assembly production process flow.
• Manage first-in-first-out in stores.
• Perform incoming material testing.
• Record and update documents.
• Install the product where required (with extra commission).

Job Description

• The primary role for the Technician Lead is to assist the manufacturing process, including both pre-production and post-production.
• Perform whole factory equipment, machine and jig fixture maintenance service
• Will lead and coach PT to assembly product
• Available out-station to troubleshooting product technical issue at consumer house
• Hands on repair production reject unit include mechanical and electrical
• Good understand assembly production process flow
• Manage unit first in first out from store
• Perform incoming material testing
• Record and update documents
• Perform installation of the product (with extra commission!)

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in the manufacturing sector, with a preference for candidates experienced in the home appliance industry.
• Familiar mechanical and electrical knowledge and troubleshooting
• Hands on repair and fabrication skills
• Able to update document by using computer
• Willing to multitasking the job tasksGood discipline and leadership to manage a team
• Required language(s): EN, CN, BM
