Job summary

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Kulim is seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Professional to maintain front-end wafer fabrication equipment and support ongoing production. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and prepare daily reports for engineers and supervisors.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Engineering with 3+ years in semiconductor equipment, and have knowledge of OEE, SPC, FMEA, DMAIC, and 5S/EHS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering, preferably Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics or vocationally trained.
• 3+ years front-end semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, process engineering, product or process development.
• Familiar with OEE, SPC, FDC, 8D problem solving, FMEA, DMAIC, TWI, Digital Manufacturing and Automation.
• Able to work effectively in cross-cultural multi-national working environment & organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment scheduled maintenance per the maintenance schedules and specifications.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform unscheduled maintenances to ensure quality recovery and minimum down time.
• Prepare daily scheduled / unscheduled maintenance and troubleshooting activity reports for engineers and supervisors and maintain equipment spare parts and consumables
• Engage in equipment Continuous Improvement Programs and support new equipment hookup and startup activities.
• Adhere to company 5S, Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), Waste Management, Cleanroom Protocol and Total Quality Management System policies.
• Support activity related to production equipment, such as material preparation.
