Job summary

UPT TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD is seeking an experienced ELV Technician to join our team in Kuala Terengganu. You will install, maintain and troubleshoot low-voltage electrical and electronic systems for commercial and industrial clients.

The role requires 1–2 years of ELV technician experience, formal Electrical/Electronic Engineering qualifications, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the role

UPT TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD is seeking an experienced ELV Technician to join our team in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of a range of low-voltage electrical and electronic systems.

What you'll be doing

• Installing, configuring and testing low-voltage electrical and electronic systems, including lighting, security, access control and building management systems
• Performing scheduled and reactive maintenance on installed systems to ensure optimal performance
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with electrical and electronic components, using a range of testing equipment
• Documenting all work carried out and maintaining detailed records of system configurations and performance
• Providing technical support and advice to clients as required
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 1-2 years' experience as an ELV Technician, preferably within the commercial or industrial sectors
• Strong knowledge of low-voltage electrical and electronic systems, including lighting, security, access control and building management
• Proficient in the use of testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• A valid driving licence
