Job summary

IDMS Technologies Sdn Bhd, a document technology company, is hiring a Field Service Technician to repair and service SHARP and FUJIFILM MFPs at customer sites and in workshops. You will enable both hardware and software at the highest standards, with on-site support across Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor, and Hulu Selangor.

• Good communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English, written and spoken.
• Technical orientation with strong analytical skills.
• Mature, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Fresh graduates welcomed; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and servicing of SHARP and FUJIFILM MFPs, hardware and software at workshop or on-site.
• Manage and repair copiers on- and off-site.
• Investigate and resolve maintenance and repair issues.
• Identify and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Respond to customer calls and ensure machines are working.
• Troubleshoot machines and escalate to supervisor for complex issues.
• OJT training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and servicing of Monochrome and Color Digital Multifunction Product (SHARP & FUJI FILM MFPs), enable hardware and software at workshop or customer's premises and services to the highest standards.
• Manage and repair copier on and off-site
• Investigate and resolve maintenance and repair issues
• Identifying and troubleshoot malfunctions cause
• Respond to all customer's call and ensure that the customer's machine is in working condition.
• Conduct trouble shooting on machines and elevate problem to Superior for issues that are complicated.
• OJT training will be provided.
• Our HQ located at Seremban 2 while we have Kajang and Melaka branch
• Experience in Related Fields would be an advantage
• This role will cover Sabak Bernam/Kuala Selangor/Hulu Selangor area and successful candidates will be assigned based on their home address

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
• Good communication skills in both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia/ English.
• Ability to demonstrate and technically oriented with good analytical skills.
• Mature and able to work with minimum supervision. Able to handle customer's complaints.
• Knowledge of color digital print products and knowledge of file handling software will be an added advantage.
• At least 1 Year (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided by the Company.

• Must have own transport-CAR.
