Job summary

Quest Hotels Malaysia is seeking a Technician to service air conditioning and assist the maintenance team at Quest Hotel MidPort PD. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems while ensuring safety and quality in daily operations.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support junior technicians, delivering strong service to guests and staff alike at a busy hotel.

Qualifications

• Certificate, diploma, or equivalent in Air Conditioning or related field.
• At least 2 years of HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair.
• Solid understanding of HVAC, refrigeration and heating systems.
• Knowledge of boiler systems and HVAC procedures.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and work plans.
• Familiarity with air and water balancing systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Comfortable in confined spaces and physically demanding environments.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC, ventilation, and air conditioning systems


• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and provide effective solutions


• Conduct inspections and assess building systems for maintenance or repair needs


• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and equipment failures


• Clean, adjust, and service HVAC systems, including warranty-related repairs


• Respond quickly and professionally to emergency repair requests


• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and maintenance logs


• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards


• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians when needed


• Deliver outstanding customer service and communicate clearly with clients

Qualifications:
