Job summary

Quest Hotel MidPort PD in Port Dickson is seeking a Technician with strong HVAC servicing skills to join our maintenance team. You will install, maintain, and repair HVAC, ventilation, and related systems and respond to urgent repair requests.

Applicants should hold a certificate or diploma in Air Conditioning or a related field, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience, reading schematics, and safe operation in confined spaces.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in Air Conditioning or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on HVAC experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and provide effective solutions
• Conduct inspections and assess building systems for maintenance or repair needs
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and equipment failures
• Clean, adjust, and service HVAC systems, including warranty-related repairs
• Respond quickly and professionally to emergency repair requests
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and maintenance logs
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians when needed
• Deliver outstanding customer service and communicate clearly with clients

Qualifications

• Possess a certificate, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Air Conditioning or a related field.
• At least minimum 2 year of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair
• Strong understanding of HVAC, refrigeration, and heating systems
• Knowledge of boiler systems and HVAC operational procedures
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and work plans
• Familiarity with air and water balancing systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and physically demanding environments
