Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot equipment and technical issues; identify root cause and perform repairs.
• Install, test, calibrate, and commission new equipment according to specifications.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts usage.
• Ensure all work complies with SOPs and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external contractors as needed.

We are looking for a responsible and skilled Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work to ensure equipment and systems operate safely and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, servicing, and repairs on equipment, machinery, and related facilities to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Troubleshoot equipment and technical issues, identify the root cause of problems, and carry out appropriate repair or corrective actions promptly including operating machines.

Conduct the installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning of new equipment and machinery according to technical specifications and company requirements.

Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests to minimize disruption to daily operations.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, equipment inspections, repairs, breakdown incidents, and spare parts usage.

Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and in compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and workplace safety regulations.

Work closely with internal departments and external contractors when required, while ensuring tools, equipment, and work areas are properly maintained, organized, and safe.

Requirements

Possess at least a Certificate or Diploma in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or other relevant technical fields from a recognized institution.

Previous working experience as a Technician, Maintenance Technician, or in a similar technical role is an added advantage; however, candidates with relevant internship or practical training experience are also encouraged to apply.

Fresh graduates with a strong interest in technical, maintenance, and engineering work are welcome to apply, as on-the-job training and guidance will be provided where necessary.

Willing to work overtime, shifts, weekends, or public holidays when required to support operational and maintenance requirements.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision while also demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
