Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions – Perai, Penang is seeking a proactive technician to operate and maintain production machinery on a rotating day/night shift. You will follow the schedule, perform PM checks, diagnose faults, and support production when operators are off duty.

This role requires a Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronic/ Mechanical) or equivalent, with strong troubleshooting skills. You will work closely with supervisors to ensure machines produce good parts consistently

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent preferred.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate daily machine operation based on schedule plan.
• Carry out maintenance checklists.
• Perform machinery repair and conversion.
• Support production to run machines when operators are off-duty.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep machines in good condition.
• Troubleshoot downtime and rejections during production.
• Understand production specs to ensure consistent part quality.
• Coordinate with supervisors to meet conversion expectations.
• Work as a team and stay proactive in daily tasks.

Amphenol Communications Solutions – Perai, Penang

Handle daily machine operation base on schedule plan.

To carry out maintenance checklist.

Perform machinery repair and conversion.

To support production to run machine when machine operator is off-duty.

Perform machine, equipment preventive maintenance (PM) to ensure machine ready in good condition.

Carry out problem solving & trouble shooting when there is any down time, rejection during production mode.

Understand the production specification in order machine able to produce good part all the time.

Close follow up with production supervisor to ensure machine conversion meet the expectation.

Work as a team and sincere with work assignment given by superior, always keep momentum of learning and effort in daily job task.

Requirement

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronic/ Mechanical) or equivalent will be advantage.


• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills

This role requires availability for both day and night shifts on a rotating basis (7 AM - 7 PM / 7 PM - 7 AM).
