Job summary

IOI City Mall Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day M&E operations across the facility in Putrajaya. You will perform routine inspections, respond to breakdowns, and carry out preventive maintenance tasks to keep building services running smoothly.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, Facilities Management, or related field, with practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• Experience in building maintenance, M&E operations, or property/facilities management is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and building maintenance systems.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and respond promptly to maintenance issues.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) systems and facilities.
• Attend to M&E breakdowns, troubleshoot issues, and resolve tenant complaints promptly.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of common facilities, lighting, plumbing, sewerage, and electrical systems.
• Monitor and maintain property assets to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Prepare and complete daily operational checklists and maintenance records.
• Submit daily and weekly maintenance reports and ensure all preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
• Carry out minor repair, painting, and maintenance works as required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the superior.
