Job summary

Sallewanlai Property Management Sdn Bhd is seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to support daily building maintenance at T-Parkland. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and respond to maintenance requests to keep the property safe and well maintained.

Responsibilities include inspecting facilities, performing basic electrical, plumbing and mechanical tasks, coordinating with contractors, documenting inspections and repairs, and upholding safety

Qualifications

• SPM or a relevant technical or vocational qualification.
• Experience in building or facilities maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems.
• Able to identify faults and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or in a team.
• Good communication with residents, colleagues and contractors.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Inspect and maintain building facilities, equipment, and common areas.

Carry out basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building repairs within your training and competency.

Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and report defects or equipment breakdowns promptly.

Monitor lighting, water supply systems, pumps, and other building equipment.

Attend to maintenance complaints and service requests professionally.

Assist in responding to breakdowns and emergencies, escalating issues requiring specialist attention.

Coordinate with contractors and service providers during maintenance and repair work.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, outstanding defects, and materials used.

Keep tools, equipment, and maintenance areas organised and in good condition.

Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to the Building Management team.

Requirements

SPM or a relevant technical or vocational qualification.

Previous experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a similar role is preferred.

Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general repair work.

Able to identify faults, carry out basic troubleshooting, and recognise when specialist assistance is required.

Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication skills when dealing with residents, colleagues, and contractors.
