Job summary

Sime Darby Berhad is seeking an automotive service technician in Malaysia to perform service and repair work on our marketed products. You will record causes and corrections in Repair Orders and manage parts requests, returns, and documentation.

The role requires a Diploma or MLVK 3 in Automotive Engineering with electrical/electronic specialization and at least 2 years of relevant experience, plus a commitment to safety and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• MLVK 3 or Diploma in Automotive Engineering major Electrical & Electronic.
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in automotive environment.
• Willingness to keep up with service literatures and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service repair / maintenance jobs on our products sold.
• Record repair cause and correction in Repair Order.
• Request parts for service job and return used parts after completing each job.
• Complete the necessary documents when carrying out maintenance and repairs.
• Engage in self-development using service literatures and product libraries.
• Ensure safe usage and storage of diagnostic, special and garage tools and equipment.
