Job summary

Abbott in Penang seeks a skilled maintenance technician to perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and set up SMT equipment in a clean-room manufacturing environment.

You will read manuals, run tests, analyze results, write reports, and contribute to safety and preventive maintenance plans. A Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronic engineering and 3–5 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronic engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3-5 years' experience in SMT (Pick and place, Reflow and Cleaning), Die attach, Dispensing, Wire Bond, Router process and Xray.
• Computer literate and proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Prior experience working in clean-room manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Must be able to work overtime and shift rotation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; solid data analysis and report writing skills; good English (spoken and written).
