Job summary

Recharge Xolutions Sdn. Bhd. seeks an experienced installer to deploy and commission EV charging stations across residential, commercial, and public sites. You will perform testing, ensure proper functionality, and troubleshoot issues that arise during installation.

The role requires a solid understanding of electrical systems, civil work experience, and excellent customer communication. You will work independently or as part of a team with a focus on safety and quality.

• Install EV chargers at residential, commercial, and public locations.

Customer Interaction:

• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their requirements and provide installation updates.
• Provide clear instructions and guidance to customers on the use of installed EV chargers.
• Address any customer concerns or questions professionally.

Technical Skills and Technical Documentation:

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of different types of EV chargers and their specifications.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and repairs on installed EV chargers.
• Stay updated with the latest industry standards and technologies related to EV charging.
• Perform troubleshooting for any malfunctions or issues with the EV chargers.
• Write detailed countermeasure reports following troubleshooting and repair tasks.
• Submit documentation related to installation work in time.

Civil Work:

• Perform necessary civil work, including cutting ceilings, wall hacking, concealing cables and laying cables with PVC pipes or casing.
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with other contractors and service providers as needed.

Time Management:

• Manage installation schedules efficiently to meet deadlines and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, including time spent and materials used.
• Prioritize tasks effectively to handle multiple installations simultaneously.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during installations.
• Ensure installations comply with relevant electrical and building codes.
• Report any safety hazards or incidents to the appropriate authorities promptly.

Troubleshooting and Reporting:

• Perform in-depth troubleshooting for any technical issues during and after installations.
• Document all troubleshooting steps and solutions in detailed countermeasure reports.
• Share countermeasure reports with the team and management for continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
