Job description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise site activities for the installation of EV chargers, electrical panels, and related infrastructure;
Review and interpret engineering drawings, site layouts, and specifications;
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, utility providers, and local authorities;
Ensure all works comply with electrical codes, safety standards (e.g., IEC, TNB, Suruhanjaya Tenaga and Local Authority regulations in Malaysia), and company policies;
Conduct site inspections and testing to guarantee the quality of materials and workmanship;
Provide on-site troubleshooting for electrical or equipment issues;
Prepare and maintain site reports, progress updates, and as built documentation;
Liaise with project managers, clients, and vendors to ensure timely project delivery;
Support the project manager in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation; and
Perform others related duties as may be required by the Management
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
Fresh graduate or minimum 1 – 3 years of working experience in electrical works, preferably in power systems, renewable energy, or electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions.
Strong understanding of LV/MV electrical systems, single-line diagrams, and grounding systems.
Familiarity with EV charger technologies (AC & DC fast charging) is a plus.
Strong communication skills in English, Malay, and Mandarin (optional).
Good problem solving, communication, and project management skills.
Willing to travel and work at project sites when required.
