Job summary

SysMac is seeking a Technician to perform assembly work per ISO released work instructions. The role involves assembling mechanical and electrical components from the component level to module level, ensuring customer specifications are met.

You will perform testing, record data for SPC and inventory, and contribute to process improvements while reporting non-conformities to your supervisor. Willingness to work extra hours or shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on assembly and/or testing skills.
• O level with relevant experience welcome to apply.
• Diploma with or without relevant experience welcome.
• Hands-on skill in mechanical and/or electrical assembly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components from unit to module level per Work Instructions.
• Test assembled modules and record data per Work Instructions.
• Maintain and improve process/tools for quality and output.
• Report non-conformities to supervisor.
• Maintain workplace safety, cleanliness and tool integrity.

Job Requirements

Assembly

• Assemble mechanical and electrical from components level to module level, in accordance to Work Instruction or as per training provided.
• Ensure product assembled meets customer specifications & expectations
• Perform assembly work consistently per targeted cycletime
• Assist in material handling and kitting, whenever required.

Testing, Recording and Evaluation

• Perform testing of assembled module by following the Work Instruction given or as per training provided
• Records data required for statistical process control, production related reports and inventory management
• Improve any process and tooling to achieve better quality and meet the target production outputs.
• Report to immediate supervisor for non-conformity, if any

Workplace Practices and Discipline

• Maintain and observe workplace safety practices, cleanliness and tidiness.
• Conduct regular tooling checks and audit
• Maintain tools, fixtures and equipment for production use. Report any wear and tear to supervisor.

Others

• Willing to work extra hours or on weekends or shifts, if required
• Perform other or additional duties as and when assigned.

Job Requirements

• Polytechnic – Certificate in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronic
• Experience and knowledge in the field of contract manufacturing is preferred.
• O level with relevant experience are welcome to apply
• Diploma without relevant experiences are welcome
• Honest, good attitude and teamwork
• Quick learner with good quality mindset and can-do attitude.
• Hands-on skill in mechanical and/ or electrical assembly
