Job description

Conducting routine servicing on compressor units, including replacing oil filters, air filters, oil-separator elements, and line filter cartridges.

Inspecting rotary screw, reciprocating, or centrifugal pumps for wear, leaks, and mechanical fatigue.

Servicing auxiliary air treatment components such as refrigerated or desiccant air dryers, condensate drains, and storage receivers.

Monitoring oil levels, coolant quality, operating temperatures, and pressure levels to prevent system failures.

Diagnostics & Repairs

Troubleshooting mechanical faults (e.g., valve failures, drive belt wear, bearing damage) and electrical issues (e.g., motor starters, sensors, PLCs, inverter drives).

Reading electrical schematics, piping diagrams, and technical manual spec sheets to isolate system errors.

Overhauling major assemblies, including air-ends, valves, pressure regulators, and thermal mixing valves.

Installing new air compressor units, air receivers, filtration systems, and main air header pipework.

Performing initial system setups, control parameter configurations, and operational safety checks (such as pressure relief valve testing).

Balancing flow and operating pressure parameters to match site-specific air demand requirements.

System Efficiency & Technical Support

Conducting air leak audits, pressure drop checks, and energy efficiency assessments to lower operational costs.

Performing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety protocols prior to maintenance or major repair tasks.

Documenting daily service reports, maintenance logs, replacement part requisitions, and operational observations.
