GEA Germany GmbH in Malaysia is seeking a Service Engineer to support sales and manage projects for Grasso ammonia refrigeration. You will report to the Director Service in Malaysia and coordinate field service, installation, commissioning and warranty actions.

A Diploma/Certificate in Refrigeration/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering is required. Fresh graduates are welcome; travel across Malaysia is expected; strong Bahasa Malaysia and English skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office are

• Process knowledge in industrial refrigeration is an advantage.
• Good oral, written and presentation skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English are essential.

• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to travel occasionally for short durations (5-6 days per month) throughout Malaysia.
• Those with more experience will be considered for a Service Engineer.

Responsabilités

• Technical handling of Product Group Grasso Industrial Refrigeration (Ammonia) and provide Service Sales Support and Project execution.
• Provide customer technical support and coordinate warranty claims.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of new compressors.
• Project supervision and coordination with subcontractors.
• Prepare weekly timesheets and service/commissioning reports.
• Ensure safety adherence on site and post-sales coordination.
• Meet customers for technical discussions and service projects.

Responsibilities / Tasks

• This role reports to the Director Service in Malaysia.
• Technical Handling of Product Group- (Grasso) Industrial Refrigeration (Ammonia): Provide Service Sales Support and Project execution
• Provide customer technical support and coordinate warranty claims
• Provide Internal technical consulting for sales and other team members
• Necessity to travel throughout Malaysia
• Service Sales Support and Project execution
• Technical support: understand customer requirements and provide technical sales support
• Oversee overhauling of Screw and Reciprocating compressors
• Oversee installation and commissioning of new compressors
• Take over service projects and field services execution upon confirmation
• Meet customer for technical discussion and service projects / field service execution
• Project Supervising and coordinate to the sub-contractor
• Troubleshooting the control system / Mechanical / Electrical
• Manage service projects within the stipulated budget
• Preparation for Instruction Manuals and Training of Operational / Maintenance Personnel.
• Ensure safety adherence of all colleagues and contractors involved in the site works
• Equipment/plant commissioning and operator training
• Post-sales coordination
• Prepare weekly timesheets and service/commissioning reports

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate holder in Refrigeration/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Open for fresh graduates
• Process knowledge in industrial refrigeration sector will be an advantage
• Good oral, written and presentation skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English language are essential
• Good computer skills with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Proactive, Independent, highly motivated and open-minded
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Able to communicate/deal professionally with both internal and external clients.
• Good oral, written and presentation skills would be desirable.
• Able to travel occasional for short duration of 5-6 days per month throughout Malaysia
• Those with more experience will be considered for a Service Engineer
