Job summary

Stenta Group is seeking a Diploma-educated engineer to oversee film production in rotating shifts at Bandar Baru Bangi. The role focuses on achieving production targets, analyzing gaps, and driving improvements in efficiency and quality.

Candidates should have experience in plastics packaging and be able to work with minimal supervision. The position requires flexibility for shift rotations (2 shifts) and OT when needed, with work in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering required.
• 1–2 years of plastic packaging films industry experience preferred.
• Willing to work in Bandar Baru Bangi.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production output against targets and identify gaps.

This is a position where the candidate will be taking care on films processing and production in shift rotation. This job is for University's Diploma holder (engineering related) with CGPA 3.0 above only.

Requirements:

• Graduated with Diploma in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Polymer Engineering or related field.
• Candidate with 1-2 years of working experiences in Plastic Packaging Films industry is highly recommended to apply.
• Candidate with experience in production/manufacturing setting will be considered in advance.
• Candidate is ready and able to work in Bandar Baru Bangi.

Working conditions:

• Shift rotation (2 Shift: 7am - 7pm, 7pm - 7am), work 4 days & 2 Days Off in rotation.
• Standby on rest day for any ad-hoc replacement on manpower.
• Willing to conduct Overtime (OT) when requested.

Job description:

• In charge of the production output against target, identify & analyse the gap.
• Experience in managing production inefficiencies & quality index, summarize, analyse to understand the cause.
• Carry out improvement programs to eliminate the gaps toward achieving & exceeding the target, and reduce the inefficiencies & wastage.
• Make sure the production is run smoothly 24/7.
