Job summary

Intag Steel Hardware Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru is seeking a Production Operator to support daily production activities and learn procedures under supervision.

What you'll be doing (Key Responsibilities):

• Assist in daily production activities according to the production schedule and instructions from the supervisor.
• Learn and understand production processes, machinery, equipment and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Assist operators and supervisors in operating and monitoring production equipment under supervision.
• Ensure products are produced according to required quality standards and specifications.
• Perform basic checking and inspection of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished products.
• Assist with material preparation, handling, packing and movement of finished goods.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the production area.
• Follow company safety rules, PPE requirements, SOPs and 5S practices at all times.
• Report machine abnormalities, product defects, safety issues or production problems to the supervisor immediately.
• Participate actively in on-the-job training and learn different production functions as assigned.
• Assist with basic machine setup, adjustment or maintenance under the guidance of authorized personnel.
• Support continuous improvement activities to improve productivity, quality and reduce wastage.
• Perform other production-related duties assigned by the Production Supervisor or Management.
