The role ensures equipment operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime, with leadership responsibilities over the technical team. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and has 5+ years in a supervisory role, with strong AutoCAD and drawing-reading skills for diverse international

Qualifications

• Must hold a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in a technical supervisory or leadership role.
• Experience reading technical drawings and performing site inspections.
• Knowledge of safety, quality and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily maintenance work by the technical team.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and oversee repair work.
• Diagnose technical issues and support troubleshooting activities.
• Conduct site inspections and attend site meetings when required.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.
• Provide technical guidance and training to the team.
• Ensure work complies with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
• Work with management and production teams to improve maintenance processes.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a technical supervisory or leadership role within engineering or manufacturing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to read technical drawings.
• Experience with site inspections, maintenance planning, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin, as the role involves dealing with international working partners.
• Knowledge of relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
